The sad death of Soprano’s legend Jame Gandolfini is being commemorated by a Finsbury bar.

On July 2, The Book Club, in Leonard Street, will be transformed into a little corner of new jersey in honour of the small screen icon, who died last week.

The best three episodes of the long-running gangster programme, as chosen by the venue’s online fans, will be screened, along with food from The Soprano’s Family Cookbook, candy cigars and a few card games (not played for real money).

Rose Payne from the Book Club said: “There definitely won’t be any strippers, but there definitely will be some hard liquor. Tony Soprano was one of the best characters in TV history played superbly by one of the best actors of our time, so come along and relive the glory. “
