Spare £17.50? Hear Kanye West’s ‘best album of all time’ premiere in Islington cinema

He’s described his new record as “album of the life”, and now Kanye West fans will be able to decide for themselves when the world premiere is screened live in Islington’s Vue cinema next Thursday,

Waves, the hip-hop star’s seventh album, will be aired for the first time at New York’s Madison Square Garden, and this will be beamed live at Vues across the UK - including the Angel Central branch - at 9.15pm.

It will be accompanied by a performance from Italian contemporary artist Vanessa Beecroft.

Mr West announced Waves, his follow up to 2013’s Yeezus, on Twitter last Tuesday, saying: “This is not album of the year. This is album of the life.”
