Hospital patient Miarose Greenhow met with Emma Bunton before settling down to watch an exclusive mini-premiere of Disney’s new release last week.

The cystic fibrosis sufferer, eight, from Holloway, met the former Spice Girl at the first premiere to be shown on Great Ormond Street Hospital’s (GOSH) new big screen.

Miarose, a pupil at St Mary’s School in Fowler Road, Islington, is now one of the first people in the country to see the new Disney Pixar release Brave, which doesn’t hit cinema screens for another five weeks.

The film’s director Mark Andrews said: “The young patients of Great Ormond Street Hospital show how brave they are on a daily basis.”

The mini-premiere was part of a day of celebrations l to mark the opening of the Disney play area.
