Arsenal need to beat Burnley by a silly margin and hope Spurs lose on Sunday if they want Champions League football next year – why not avoid the stress and head down to Gillespie Park’s penalty shoot-out instead?

The "absolutely lovely" nature reserve, which is a stroll from the Emirates Stadium, will be buzzing with music, stalls, foraging, face-panting, pond dipping and more as the community turns out for the annual spring party.

Islington Ecology Centre and Friends of Gillespie Park (FoGP) have organised the bash, which will kick off at 12pm and finish at 4pm.

Pat Tuson, of FoGP, said: "It's to celebrate spring and nature in the absolutely lovely wildlife park here in the centre of London.

"Everybody is welcome, it's free and there will be lots of stuff for families, and everyone, to do. We have stalls, music, food - so people can just lounge around all afternoon and enjoy the day."
