Tickets for The Stone Roses’ two dates in Finsbury Park next June are almost sold out - but resale sites are already charging up to �1,200 for a �55 general admission ticket.

The legendary band’s gig on Saturday, June 7, next year sold out within 30 minutes, but there were still a “small amount” left for Friday, according to the latest post on the band’s official Twitter account, at 10am today.

But the ticket resale site Viagogo has tickets ranging from �73 to �1,197.73 for a single general admission pass, while on Seatwave.com they range from �69 to �438 per ticket. Auction site eBay has tickets going for up for �1,200 for four.

The last major event scheduled to take place in the park was for it to host Jamaica Village as part of the London 2012 Olympics, which was set to see up to 15,000 people visit per day. It collapsed just weeks before the Games as organisers couldn’t raise the financial backing.
