Street food operator Kerb is launching a new project aimed at boosting local farmers’ markets at Hornsey Town Hall this weekend.

The company behind Camden Market’s food offering is bringing Kerb X to Crouch End every Saturday from 11am to 4pm. The Time + Space Co, the new operator of the venue, hopes it will encourage people to buy local produce, while it will also champion independent craft traders and host street food vendors.

Managing partner Piers Read said: “Kerb’s ethos sits so well with our objectives to support the local community and local businesses.”

Food will come courtesy of Filipino barbecue chefs BBQ Dreamz, an Amalfi Coast-inspired burger joint Baggio Burger, The Beefsteaks, chilli honey makers Wilderbee, Tottenham cheesemaker Wildes and Crouch End bakery Dunns.

Ian Dodds of Kerb said: “We love Crouch End and the opportunity to be part of a new story behind the iconic Hornsey Town Hall appealed to us a lot.”
