An 18-year-old pedestrian is in a life-threatening condition after being in collision with a motorbike in Islington this morning.

The incident happened at around 8.50am in Pentonville Road, near the junction with Penton Street. Road closures remain in place around the scene of the collision, which involved an orange KTM motorbike.

The teenage girl was taken to the Royal London Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
