A holiday company which was set up after a Barkingside-based travel agency relocated is helping tourism students.
Holiday Designers, Loughton, was started by former employees of Longwood Holidays, which was based in Longwood Gardens, Barkingside and then Bourne Court, Woodford Green, before moving to Barnet.
It is offering four-week placements to travel and tourism students at Epping Forest College and managing director Dan Lion, of Beaminster Gardens, Barkingside, is open to working with other colleges.
He said: “A lot come out of college without necessarily knowing what to expect when they go into the workplace.”
