A report into the Upper Street flooding has been delayed until April, Thames Water has said.
The analysis of the last eight major incidents was set to be published last month but the independent consultant Paul Cuttill has requested more information.
The announcement was made at a town hall meeting last week, in which the impact of the flooding was discussed in detail.
Reps from the water company did say the cause of the burst water main was thought to be the thinning of the pipe wall from corrosion, though that is yet to be confirmed.
Some businesses in and around Camden Passage who were gutted in the flood are still not open and others had no recorded value of their stock, but Thames Water said no one would suffer a material loss as a result of the damage.
