An outdoor film exhibition in Essex Road, Islington, launches today.
After the success of last year’s project, art gallery Tintype is launching Essex Road II: eight specially commissioned short films inspired by the road itself.
Five minutes or less in length, the films are projected from the gallery’s large window, and can be viewed from the street seven days a week between 4pm-11pm until January 16.
Watch the video above for a trailer of Melanie Manchot’s slow tracking shot up and down Essex Road, with all the shopkeepers standing outside their shops.
Tintype is located at number 107.
