Up to 5,000 people turned out in the pouring rain to join a protest march today against proposed cuts to Whittington Hospital.
Victoria Wood and Roger Lloyd-Pack were among the famous faces while the circle of MPs whose constituents will be affected by the proposals marched side by side with protesters.
The Ham&High, Ham&High Broadway and Islington Gazette joined forces to send a special double-decker bus on the march, with passengers that included 92-year-old hospital campaigner Angela Sinclair.
The protest concluded with a series of speeches from high-profile community figures outside the hospital in Archway.
