Children took a walk on the wild side this when they had the chance to get up close with meerkats, snakes and spiders.
Wildlife entertainer, Pete Prodromou, teamed up with the Highbury Barn Tavern in Highbury Park Road to put on a free animal and reptile show over the recent bank holiday weekend.
The 29-year-old, formerly known by his stage name Safari Pete, said: βIt is an opportunity for children from the local community to meet wild animals they would not normally have the chance of seeing.β The crocodile proved to be the most popular and children were also invited to look for a snake camouflaged against a tree.β
