A woman has been found dead in a bath in a suspected suicide.

The 48-year-old’s body was discovered in a flat in Upper Street, Islington, at around 4pm yesterday.

Police said she is believed to have taken her own life and they are not treating the death as suspicious.

A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We were called at 3.55pm and we sent two ambulances and two cars. The woman was dead at the scene when we arrived.”
