Woman hospitalised after second Finsbury Park collision
A woman has been rushed to hospital after the second serious accident in four days in Finsbury Park.
The 37-year-old pedestrian was in collison with a white Ford Transit van on Seven Sisters Road at around 9pm last night (Monday), police say.
The driver of the van failed to stop and turned north up Green Lanes.
Paramedics and the air ambulance attended, and police cordoned off the scene while the victim was taken to hospital with chest injuries.
She is currently in a stable but critical condition.
Anyone with any information about the van, which may have a damaged wing mirror, should call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting CAD 8799/12/09.
On Friday morning (September 9) a 32-year-old woman suffered life-threatening head injuries after a collision with a motorbike as she crossed Seven Sisters Road towards Finsbury Park Road.
