A YOUNG motorcyclist was injured when he was thrown from his bike in a collision with a pedestrian.
The 20-year-old man was rushed to hospital following the crash in Pentonville Road, Angel, at 6pm on Saturday.
A spokeswoman for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a motorbike on Pentonville Road. We sent a motorcycle responder, an ambulance crew and the air ambulance’s doctor in a car to the scene. Our staff treated a 20-year-old man and took him as a priority to Royal London Hospital.”
Islington Police described the man’s injuries as “non-threatening or life changing”.
The pedestrian escaped unhurt.
