PDC star George Killington was in sparking form for Kennedy’s as they brushed aside the experienced Nicholas Nickleby 10-5 in the Archway Darts League.
Killington hit a timely 15-dart leg and excellent 112 out-shot for the early front-runners, while teammate Darren Canty also netted his first maximum for the Caledonian Road juggernaut.
Elsewhere, 2015 singles champion Scott Robinson reeled off a maximum for fierce rivals Doyles A who triumphed 10-5 at Sheephaven Bay, with Matty Finch also hitting a fine 15-dart leg for the the away winners.
Perennial title challengers N19 were ambushed at home 9-6 by the accomplished Royal Oak B in a tense affair, while Golden Lion recorded a 12-3 mauling on the road at Old Oak.
In a quality contest at the Royal Oak A, the flawless Stuart Pickles conjured up a magical 105 check-out for visitors Boston Arms as they claimed a 10-5 victory.
