Berat Eryureller slammed in a 40-yard free-kick to secure a dramatic 4-3 victory for Boston Celtics in their Hackney & Leyton League Division Three clash with Regent’s Park.
The teams were locked at 3-3 going into injury time, with Ricky Price registering a double for Celtics and Jason Skelton also getting his name on the scoresheet.
Kevin Merida, Jack Drinkwater and Alex Allgood all found the net for Regent’s Park, but Eryureller’s last-gasp strike settled the contest in Celtics’ favour.
Football 22 and FC BKT fought out a 0-0 draw in the only other game in the division, while Aaron Marston netted the only goal as El Valiente defeated Dynamics in their Division One clash.
Hansel Lewis struck a brace for Jack Barry, with Adam Davidson also on target in their 3-1 victory over BG United in Division Two. Bilyan Karakashev scored United’s goal.
