Islington’s unbeaten light-heavyweight Aarron Morgan claimed his 12th straight professional win against Laszlo Fazekas at York Hall on Saturday.
Morgan was in control from start to finish, constantly putting his opponent on the back foot, landing stiff left jabs and hard right hooks.
His Hungarian opponent managed to land some powerful uppercuts of his own, but none of them caused Morgan any particular concern and he looked strong throughout.
At the end of the contest, referee Ian John Lewis awarded all six rounds to the former Islington BC captain, with the scorecard reading 60-54 in his favour.
