Former world champion Bob Anderson was guest of honour as Admiral Mann hit the treble at the Archway and District Darts League presentation night.

Anderson, who won the world title in 1988, stepped up to the oche to face one player from each team before turning his attention to the less skilled task of presenting the trophies.

Three of them went to Admiral Mann, who not only won the league for the first time but also claimed the fours cup, while team member Daniel King-Morris took the singles trophy.

Hope and Anchor triumphed in the knockout cup as well as the pairs, with Tony Winnick and John Moran taking the honours.

The captains’ cup went to Zac Chapman of Nicholas Nickelby, while Billy Mundee of Doyles was the secretaries’ cup winner and team-mate Catherine Coyle took the ‘guvnors’ cup.
