Islington super lightweight Louis Isaacs earned a second successive win on a Goodwin show at York Hall on Saturday.

The talented super lightweight beat Bulgarian rival Petar Alexandrov on points after a fierce scrap in which both fighters landed powerful hooks.

The unbeaten 20-year-old did enough to take the win on points, with referee Mark Bates scoring the bout 39-28 in Isaacs’ favour.

The win over Alexandrov went with Isaacs’ points success against Anto Nakic in his previous bout at York Hall in March.

Former St Pancras amateur Robbie Chapman was also in action on the Goodwin show at York Hall and enjoyed a winning debut in the pro ranks by beating Liam Griffiths

In the middleweight bout, Chapman’s mobility and hand-speed earned him the decision against his more experienced foe.

Referee Mark Bates scored the bout 40-37 in favour of Chapman, who goes by the nickname of ‘The Caretaker’.
