Man of the match Deon Marshall netted the decisive goal as Wolves’ Under-13s edged closer to the top of the table after a hard-fought 2-1 win over Pro Touch Soccer Academy.

Sam Kisunga opened the scoring and Marshall then surged past two defenders to give his side a two-goal lead at half-time.

But Wolves spurned further opportunities in the second half and they had to survive a string of late corners after slack defending enabled Pro Touch to pull a goal back.

n Hayden Miller grabbed a late winner for Isledon Wolves Channons as they finally saw off Westway in their Under-13 B clash.

Joel Chileshe and Samuel Kyei-Baafour were both instrumental in the Channons’ victory, while an inspired performance from the Westway keeper could not stop Miller from prodding in the only goal four minutes from time.

n A fantastic display of goalkeeping from Adnan Menhal kept A Class at bay as Isledon Wolves Under-12s secured a 2-0 win.

Debutant Tommy Jackson gave Wolves the lead, beating two players to fire home, before Billy Flynn made it 2-0 at half-time.

But A Class piled on the pressure in the second half and it needed several fine stops from Menhal, including a penalty save five minutes from time, for Wolves to clinch the points.

n Man of the match Deen Tijani rattled in a hat-trick to take Lyndhurst Under-11s joint top of their division with a 10-1 thrashing of Pro Touch.

Emmanuel Makaya, Eli Graham and Rees Jones all netted twice for Lyndhurst, while Denis Lord-Hassan was also on the mark.

n Dylan Bolister and Louis Dillon were both on target for A Class Under-15s as they triumphed 2-0 in their top of the table clash with Somerstown.

A Class goalkeeper Ben Thompson produced a number of saves to thwart Somerstown before Bolister headed home from a corner and Dillon made it 2-0.

n Angel Islington Under-10s extended their unbeaten run with a 3-0 win at Pro Touch. Casey Christou, Peter Angelov and Callum Webdale all scored, while Dylan Simson was man of the match.

n Charlie Nolan’s strike put Angel Islington Under-11s ahead in their match against FDS but, despite dominating the game, they conceded an equaliser and had to settle for a share of the spoils.

n Nicky Marshall and Ruben Lourenco netted two goals apiece to keep Isledon Wolves Under-13s top of the Harrow Youth League with a 6-1 victory against St Andrew’s.

Sam Kisunga and Joel Chileshe were also on target for the Wolves.
