St Aloysius’ College’s Under-14 boys’ team can become champions of the capital later this month after qualifying for the London School Games final fours.
The team will join three other schools at Score, Leyton, on Friday March 28 to battle for the title of London champions – and the opportunity to represent the capital in the nationwide final fours that follow.
They defeated Platanos College, Stockwell, 53-46 in an enthralling game to reach the London finals, with captain James Mullholland and Deandre Asare both outstanding.
Team coach Will Akuffo said: “The boys played well, but they will need to work hard in training as the finals will be a tough experience.”
