Capital currently gripped by tennis fever
With the grass court season well on truly upon us and Wimbledon just around the corner, ‘tennis fever’ has gripped the capital.
What that does mean, though, is that courts across London will be increasingly hard to book over the new few weeks — which is why MyLocalPitch have produced a handy ‘Tennis Tube Map’ to helped those in the capital find their nearest venue.
“Coupled with the beautiful weather, many Londoners have already dug out their rackets and headed to the courts over the past few weeks,” said a spokesperson for MyLocalPitch.
“With the increase in demand, tennis courts can suddenly become tricky to find.
“MyLocalPitch, a search and instant booking portal, works with a number of grassroots tennis facilities across the city to make it easier for people to get into sports.
“To help handle the increase in demand, MyLocalPitch has created a tennis tube map to show a selection of the city’s best places to play tennis.
“Finding and booking tennis courts was invariably slow and fragmented until MyLocalPitch aggregated grassroots facilities online and provided an easy way for Londoners to get on court.”
