Billy Flynn and Louis Hofferer both scored twice as Isledon Wolves Under-12s produced their best performance of the season to overcome A Class 4-2.

Flynn opened the scoring and, although A Class equalised, Hofferer made it 2-1 before Flynn lobbed the goalkeeper for his second goal.

Hofferer scored again before A Class pulled back a consolation. Stand-in keeper Ben Barlow, who made three excellent saves, was Wolves’ man of the match.

Keiron Loughney’s free-kick finally broke down Lyndhurst’s stubborn resistance as Isledon Wolves Under-14s won 1-0 to stay in contention for the title.

Ethan Irvine and Herbie Lea-Bramble both went close to increasing Wolves’ lead as they struck the woodwork.

Oscar Phillips smashed a hat-trick as Isledon Wolves’ Channons Under-nines turned on the style by hammering Futebol de Salao 7-1.

Jesse Aldridge netted twice, while Tyson Mcintosh was also on the mark and Shay Cronin scored direct from a corner. At the other end, goalkeeper Shelton Poku-Nyako pulled off a string of excellent saves.
