Local pupils were celebrating after enjoying Islington & Camden Schools’ Cup final successes last week.

Central Foundation’s year seven boys proved too strong for rivals Haverstock in the Ritchie Cup, romping to an 8-0 win at St Aloysius Playing Fields.

The year eight squad from St Aloysius, meanwhile, were on a high after recording a 5-1 win over Highbury Grove, while the year 11 final final proved much closer.

In the end, one goal proved enough for Holloway to get the better of St Mary Magdalene to lift the Mitre Cup silverware.
