Manie Joses topped the scoring charts in the Community Basketball League with an unstoppable 21 points to guide Access2Sports Under-12s to a 32-22 victory over Barnet East Giants.

Joses was in impressive form from the start of the game, banking nine points in the first half to ensure that the Islington team held a 13-10 advantage at the midway point.

He then scored all of his side’s points in the third period and added another seven in the final quarter to claim a higher total than any other player in this round of league games.

“That was a lot of fun,” said Joses. “My team helped me to get open which helped me to shoot well. I love playing basketball and look forward to the CBL every weekend.”

The league is run by the London School of Basketball (LSB) in partnership with Reach and Teach. For more information, or to get involved, contact fmacaly@reachandteach.co.uk
