Kygo and Boy Better Know are also headlining the festival that runs from Friday to Sunday

Wireless Festival returns to Finsbury Park for its 11th year on 8-10 July with headliners across the weekend including Calvin Harris, Chase & Status, J. Cole, Kygo and Boy Better Know.

Harris released his first album I Created Disco in 2007, which included the hit single ‘Acceptable in the 80s’.

In the decade since, he has been nominated for nine Brit Awards and four Grammys – one of which he won for his music video with Rhianna.

He was named Songwriter of the Year in 2012 at the Ivor Novello Awards, a title that can also be boasted by Adele, Phil Collins and Damon Albarn.

Calvin Harris will be joined on Friday by alt-rock band The 1975 and hip-hop and R&B artists Miguel and Bryson Tiller.

Saturday’s main event is Chase & Status, giving their first live London show in over two years.

The duo, Saul Milton and Will Kennard, have collaborated with countless artists in the past including Rihanna, Cee Lo Green and Plan B and will be returning to Wireless with their live band, Andy Gangadeen and MC Rage.

“We have an epic show lined up, which we‘ve been planning in secret for the last couple of months,” they said.

“It’s an honour to be performing in our hometown alongside some of the most exciting names in music and we’re looking forward to dropping one of our best sets yet.”

Five-time Grammy nominee and platinum-selling rapper J. Cole’s second appearance at Wireless is his first on the main stage. He joins Chase & Status as a Saturday headliner.

Wrapping up the weekend of live music are Kygo and Boy Better Know.

At just 24 years old, Kygo, real name Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, has gone from bedroom producer to international star, remixing the music of Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and Marvin Gaye.

The Norwegian DJ, producer and songwriter has had hits of his own with his single ‘Firestone’ reaching 700 million views on YouTube and Spotify.

Grime collective and record label Boy Better Know was created by Skepta and brother Jme over a decade ago.

Last year, Skepta was welcomed to the stage by Drake to the delight of the crowd prompting questions as to when he’d be headlining in his own right.

Boy Better Know is to follow in the footsteps of Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Avicii and David Guetta who took centre stage at last year’s Wireless Festival.

With none of last year’s headliners hailing from the UK, the likes of Chase & Status and Boy Better Know will see Wireless Festival return to its London roots.
