Acclaimed filmmaker Richard Linklater will take part in a question-and-answer session about his latest film at the Barbican next week.
The director, best known for Slacker and Boyhood, will speak after a preview screening of Everybody Wants Some!! on May 4 at 7.15pm.
The film has been described as a “spirtual sequel” to his 1993 movie, Dazed&Confused, and follows a freshman in the first year of college in the 1980s as he and his friends party hard and navigate the challenging world of young adulthood.
The screening is a partnership between Barbican Cinemas and Guardian Live, and will be held at Cinema 1 at the centre.
