Four live horses perform on stage at Sadler’s Wells alongside dancers and a donkey for an unusual equestrian theatre piece.
Renowned rider and equestrian theatre artist Bartabas will be accompanied by contemporary flamenco dancer Andrés Marín as they unite art, dance, and music through their use of horses for the UK premiere of Golgota at the theatre in Angel.
Using Gregorian chants and physical poetry, the duo aim to demonstrate how traditional flamenco can be updated for the modern day.
The show runs until Monday at 7.30pm, with Sunday matinee at 4pm. Tickets £12 – £45.
