Foodies are invited to eat their way around the world at a new outdoor festival hosted by takeaway service Just Eat.

The event at Red Market in Shoreditch, one of London’s first pop-up food markets, features American, Caribbean, Indian, Italian, Vietnamese and Chinese cuisines.

Various restaurants have signed up to present tasty offerings that hit upon the latest trends in the food world.

Expect to “meat your maker” with ribs and chicken wings by American-style diner Red Dog Saloon, sample dim sum including authentic dumplings by Ping Pong and fill a corner with Whaam Banh Mi’s rice bowls.

Caribbean food, woefully underrepresented in London, will be provided by Finchley’s Panda Berry with dishes such as jerk chicken and goat curry.

As for dessert, Dum Dum Donutterie’s artisan treats should do the trick.

The bakery has caught onto fads by producing the Cronut, popularised by New York patisserie Dominique Ansel, the Crone (pictured) a dough cone topped with ice cream, and original fusion creations such as the crème brûlée doughnut. Peanut butter and strawberry cheesecake flavours are promised to be on the menu.

Prefer healthier sustenance to carb-heavy mains and sweet puds? Protein-fuelled Gyms Kitchen, the laddish answer to Deliciously Ella, will be showcasing its nutritionally balanced fare with smoothies and juices.

Dishes will be on offer for £4 each or three for £8, allowing pick ’n mix dining.

In addition to food, live music and multi-cultural entertainment will make this weekend-long festival a lively affair with a buzzing atmosphere.

Free entry. 22-24 July. Red Market, 288 Old St, London EC1V 9LA. Friday 5-11pm, Sat noon-11pm, Sun noon-9pm.
