THE ADVENTURES OF SYDNEY AND ARABELLA, THE EXILED URBAN FOXES

A CONVEYOR belt of amusing insights are presented to the audience in this love 'em or shoot 'em role play about two urban foxes "kidnapped" back into the countryside.

Born and raised in urban London, the production is an ecological paradox at its finest, as the audience are whisked into sympathising with our hosts who are left with nothing but languishing antics in an effort to return to their more familiar surroundings. Your local high street!

Though concerned about their plight, Sydney (Chris Paddon), is happy just to be in the midst of his highly strung vixen Arabella, and tries to get a leg over at every opportunity.

However, an increasingly anxious Arabella greets Sydney with the "you can sleep on the couch, unless we make it back to London" vibe. Such is the chemistry in the way their fluctuating romance is acted, that you would be forgiven in thinking they were a genuine couple.

In the countryside they are joined by the world's first homosexual fly, played by the much enthusiastic Kerry Norman, who also plays a bunny, a chicken, and a mink out to seduce Arabella.

Because the humour is quite silly in parts its hour-long run-time is just right as any more might become trying for some. The play does really well in using comedy to iron out the creases in the controversial fox hunting debate, at least until the end, when it all ends with a BANG!
